It has been a while since we'ver written on the Empowered Perspectives blog. We have had many great guess and a exciting Summer. We have had guess like Bill Monning, Kiki Wow, Alex Vasques, Rhonda Farrah just to name a few that has graced our studio with their presence.
This season is the begining of many great things to come and the show is getting stronger than ever!!

Bringing It All Together
Making positive changes in this area has not been easy for David and I but we are determined to make things happen. The past two shows have been about entrepreneuralism and the healing of Salinas and the 93905 zip code. If you feel like you would like to help us help our community, please contact us.
Out In The Community
Since it seems like pulling teeth to get funding for our projects, David and I are working with vendors like kettle Korn that are willing to help us raise funds for our projects. Come and visit us at Seasides' new Safeway on Thursday April 3rd between 3pm-7pm. Your support does matter.

Can You Really Change The World?
That was our question for this weeks show. We believe that you can and this show is one of our steps to help to do just that.
David and I addressed positive companies that care not only about themselves and the people that work with them. Humanity Unites Brilliance is all about relieve poverty around the world. Click the video to your right or click the Humanity Unites Brilliance link below it.
The TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conference that is annually held in Monterey focuses on ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world.
In Mika's Life, self care is the main component and learning to detect if you are not loving to yourself.
David began the introduction into the Song of Songs.

First Show
Well, what can we say....We were very pleased with our first show. David and I introduced ourselves to our audience and gave them a little history and current events on what we are all about.
Our first guest and friend Silvia Sweidan was warm and fun. She is partnering with David and I on some projects and her non-profit woman4woman is impacting our world in such a inspiring way. We gave away 2 tickets to her up coming fundraiser "Middle Eastern Cultural Night II" which will be held in Monterey at Carleton Hall on Franklin St. this Sunday March 16th at 5pm-9pm. Next show, David and I will touch a little on our specialties. Most of the show is still a mystery and will have to unfold over the weekend.

Were On The Air!!
It's Sunday night. David and I are getting excited about our first radio talk show Empowered Perspectives airing tomorrow (Monday) 3:05pm. The show airs in Monterey, Salinas, Santa Cruz and Globally on the Internet at www.knry.com.
